Whilst all of my courses are adapted to your needs, my General English course will also focus on the core grammar and vocabulary you need to improve your English.
I take a communicative and skills-based approach to course design, as such you can expect to develop all four language skills - reading, writing, speaking, and listening - as well as cover essential communication and learning strategies.
Depending on your interests and needs we can cover a range of topics, such as food, hobbies, family and friends, jobs and work, and popular culture.
All my classes are fully online. Although I prefer to work through Zoom due to its extensive educational and multimedia features, we can also meet on GoogleMeet and Skype.
Before starting a course, I will carry out a placement test so that I can tailor the level of the course to your specific skills and knowledge. I will also carry out a needs analysis to find out which areas you would benefit most from developing.
I am trained and experienced in teaching English using the communicative method. This means that you won't spend all your time studying grammar and vocabulary; we will focus on developing your communication skills too.
With a strong focus on speaking, I will get you speaking accurately, fluently and confidently.
I know that you learn best when you are having fun. I make sure the lessons are fun and motivating by providing engaging topics and activities.
I take a skills-based approach, which means that you will develop your reading, writing, and listening skills as well as your speaking skills.
